About Us
Humanity at the heart of everything we do.
The Indian Red Cross Society is a voluntary humanitarian organisation established in 1920 under the Indian Red Cross Society Act XV of 1920. As a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, it works to prevent and alleviate human suffering through humanitarian, health, disaster-response, and community-service activities.
The Kozhikode District Branch brings together dedicated volunteers committed to serving communities across the district through humanitarian services, health initiatives, disaster response, first-aid training, and various community-based programmes and activities.

Making a difference, together.
From humanitarian response to community service, our volunteers are committed to helping people when they need it most.
Blood Donation
Striving for 100% voluntary blood donation.
Sometimes, a small act of kindness can help save a life. Blood donation is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to support someone in need. Through our blood donation initiatives, we encourage individuals and communities to come forward and donate blood, helping ensure that safe and timely blood is available to patients during emergencies, medical treatments and other critical situations.
